Danmarks Næste Klassiker Season 5

Season 5 of the popular show premieres on DR1 and DRTV. Once again, five furniture designers are ready to compete to create the next Danish design that will be passed down through generations. As tradition dictates, the designers must create six pieces of furniture in six different categories: chair, lamp, children’s furniture, sofa, table, and a surprise, which this year is a piece for the Copenhagen Contemporary art center.

The 5 designers have only three weeks to design and produce each piece of furniture, so there’s no doubt they’ll be busy. But already, we can reveal that the level is higher than ever before – so there’s plenty to look forward to.
