TINE MOURITSEN – GYNGGANG

In Danish we have a name for this kind of S-shaped chair. We call it a “frisvinger” which is a way for us to describe how the person sitting there almost looks like he is floating in the open air. Just like the classic Panton Chair from 1965. The chair was designed by Tine Mouritsen in 2000 with the purpose to create a chair that is so comfortable that you can easily sit in it for a whole evening. Use it around the dining table and use it again after dinner as a comfortable lounge chair. Easy to move, stack and pack away if you need to free up the space.
